Formatting: How This Works

on

My Bipolar Kitchen! aims to make one scripted and edited video (up to ten minutes long) each week.

Each video will center on a specific recipe/meal and will be accompanied by a topic of conversation. Topics for conversation focus on our relationship with food and its impact on our mental, emotional, and physical growth. Many individuals have adverse feelings toward food and eating. Many folks struggle with dieting because the language of food falls into categories of healthy vs unhealthy, good vs bad. By changing our mentality and relationship with food, eating, and cooking, we grow, heal, and mend the relationship we have with ourselves.

Every journey of wellness looks different, so My Bipolar Kitchen! aims to interact with viewers, collaborate with other creators, and engage in a community conversation regarding food and mental health.

The format for each week is as follows:

Monday: Select both the recipe and topic for the week and share via TikTok and blog, linking to other social media accounts.

Tuesday: Shop for groceries, take photos of ingredients for recipe, and interact/engage with viewers.

Wednesday: Script writing and engaging with folks via social media when possible.

Thursday: Prep and engage while prepping.

Friday: Cooking and filming.

Saturday: Editing, voice recording and more editing.

Sunday: Publish final video on TikTok and blog, linking to other social media accounts.

The first recipe and topic will be selected and announced on Monday, January 2, 2023. I hope you are as excited as I am!
